The Suffolk Advocacy Forum (SAF) is a group of organisations and individuals with an interest in Advocacy.
Aim
SAF aims to raise the profile and the importance of advocacy within all communities across Suffolk.
Purpose
The SAF was formed to bring together advocacy organisations that support the aims and development of independent advocacy in Suffolk. It was set up to make advocacy known and accessible to people who may find it helpful regardless of their age, disability, gender, race, sexuality or cultural background. The Forum aims to promote good practice and raise the profile and accessibility of independent advocacy across Suffolk.
The purpose of the Forum includes:
- Exchange of information;
- Sharing good practice in advocacy;
- Informing, educating and training people about advocacy
SAF is open to all organisations and individuals with an interest and a commitment to the aims of the Forum.
